My Sister's Bday

At the beginning of February I headed down to the beach to celebrate my sis!  We ate on the water in February.....gotta love So Cal!!!

I so love arriving at their house...it's one of those times in your life where you know that someone is truly happy to see you.

I literally get tackled to the ground when they see me and especially if they know I have candy.

Which of course this Auntie never travels without!

And this little one had to put on her Valentine's party dress even though it was only the first of February....afterall it was a party for her mama!

And a party for her mama means paaaaarty shoes!

Family

Family. I love them to pieces!

They make me smile.  They make me laugh.  They make me full when we eat lots of junk together.  They like their bumps and they like to sing.  We love playing games and making sure Rodney loses.  And sometimes they urk me too.....afterall we're family and we gotta keep it real!

But most of all I love them and don't know what I'd do with them!

But do you want to know who rules this roost?

I'll give you one guess?

I think it's what I love about her most....ya it is!

My sister is my best customer too so I'll keep her around for a little while longer.

Oh ya...her kids.....okay so I'll keep her around for good!

I can't take credit for these photos....it was all Nicole!  She did my sister's wedding, all their family photos and our whole family with Rodney's family from London at the beach a few years ago.

Payback

So I have this brother in law, his name is Rodney and I have fired him.  I have fired him as a matchmaker.

Keep in mind that I NEVER hired him to begin with to ever play match maker for me but after this night at Starbucks and the strange man he was striking up conversation with....he's for sure fired.

Mind you my BIL can make conversation with a cactus.  It's a gift - it really is and sometimes I'm jealous - not of the cactus though.

This strange man out of the blue asks me for my facebook name so he could be my friend and my little booger of a BIL started to give it to him.  Fortunately he didn't really know "what to give him" cuz he's not a FB'er.

My sweet niece saved me.

She put her scarf on his head and this post....this picture....is payback!

He's really lucky that he has the most adorable children that I would give my right arm for :)  Gotta love him!!

The End!

Christmas....the day after!!

I wasn't with my family for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day but the day after....I got to see some of them!  It was a very different Christmas for me but extra in many other ways.

This little one helped make it that way...I mean wouldn't ya agree?!!

This package was gift enough.

But then again I never complain when pretty little Nordie gift certifcates fill such cute packages.

Even if the gift certificate had owls all over it :)

I think this Auntie gave this little princess the wrong gift...a makeup kit.

She still didn't think she could see the pink on her cheeks and kept going back for more :)

Then I realized all I really needed to gift these kiddos was the $1 suckers from the Target dollar section that I used as a gift topper on one of their really cool gifts.

Next year I'll remember this.   "Ya right....uh uh" as Sophia said!

No offense to my friends and family but these were by far my most FAVORITE gifts.

It's just what I always wanted!

Okay now I'm off to finish my TPW cinnamon rolls.

Cinnamon rolls for New Years because I can and because come Monday I can't....well at least that's what my skinny jeans said!

My favorite name

 

Love Love Love on my birthday!

I always thought my 2nd favorite food was chocolate (coffee is my first of course...yes it has it's own food group in my house).  But now I think to maintain the #2 spot....the chocolate cake mustbe made by these very own little hands!!

And when you eat this said cake, you must where a crown covered with jewels and your name "AA" written across the top or it's just simply not the same.  Honestly you should just take my word on this one!  Last year's halloween costumes are a plus too!

The only thing better than chocolate cake and coffee is these two little ones on my birthday!  I cannot describe the joy they bring to my heart!!!

(My Sis, Rodney and Jodi attended this little chocolate party but somehow didn't make it into a picture...they were too busy eating cake!)
